Biryani Blues

Biryani Blues is tucked away at Sco- 89 on Palam Vihar Road. We are right in the middle of the Huda Market in Sector 22, Gurgaon. If you look for the Axis Bank, we are just nearby. It’s a busy spot and we’ve been here for a while. It’s not a big corporate office or a fancy place. It is just a kitchen where a few of us work every day. We spend most of our time over hot stoves and dealing with bags of rice. The market can get pretty loud and crowded, especially in the evenings. We see a lot of the same people who work in the nearby offices or live in the neighborhood. We don’t have a marketing team to write fancy stories about us. We just focus on the cooking and getting the orders ready. Sometimes we run out of things or the delivery gets delayed when the traffic on Palam Vihar Road is bad. That's just how it goes in Gurgaon. The shop is simple and we keep it that way. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, start the fire, and get to work. Most days are long but we like being part of the Sector 22 community. If you are walking around Huda Market, you’ll probably find us by the smell of the spices. We don't use flashy lights to get attention. It is just our small shop.
