The Monk Restaurant (Galaxy Hotel)

We are over here at The Monk Restaurant which is located inside the Galaxy Hotel. It is right off the National Highway 8 in Gurgaon, specifically in Sector 15 Part 2. Most people know the area because of the 32nd Milestone which is just behind our building. It gets pretty busy around here with all the cars coming off the highway at all hours. We have been operating from this spot for a while now and the hotel keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the lobby is very quiet and other times it is packed with people traveling through the city. We just focus on getting the food ready and making sure the kitchen is running okay. Gurgaon changes so fast these days, but this part of Sector 15 feels a bit more settled than the newer areas. It is a lot of work running a place inside a hotel. You have to deal with different types of guests all the time. Some people are just stopping for a quick bite while others are staying upstairs for a few days. The traffic on NH8 can be a real headache during the peak hours, but it brings people in too. We do not do anything too fancy, just the regular restaurant stuff. It is a practical location for anyone passing through the region. The staff stays busy with the lunch rush usually. We see a lot of local office folks too since there are buildings nearby. It is just us doing our thing.
