The Chinese Kitchen

We have two shops, numbers 56 and 57, in the Huda Market in Sector 15 Part 2. Gurgaon is always growing, but this market feels a bit more like a community. We’ve been set up here for a while now. It’s a busy kitchen, especially since we have the two units joined together. There is always the sound of woks clanking and oil popping. We do mostly Chinese dishes, the kind people like to eat for dinner or a quick lunch. The market gets very crowded in the evenings, so finding a spot to sit can be tricky sometimes. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened. They know the regulars by name and what they usually order. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just the kitchen and the counter. We spend a lot of time making sure the ingredients are fresh every morning. The traffic in Sector 15 can be a headache, but once you get into the market, it’s not so bad. We focus on getting the food out fast because people in Gurgaon are usually in a hurry. It’s just a normal local kitchen. We don't do anything too fancy, just the basics done right. You can find us right in the middle of the Huda Market shops. The signage is a bit faded, but most people know where we are by now.
