Shanghai Bar & Lounge (The Bristol Hotel)

You can find Shanghai Bar & Lounge over at The Bristol Hotel in DLF City Phase I. We are right there adjoining the DLF Qutab Enclave, which is a pretty busy part of Gurgaon. Being in Phase I means we see a lot of people coming in after work or just locals who live nearby in the enclave. It’s a bar and lounge, so the vibe is usually a bit more relaxed than the main lobby of the hotel. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Some of the staff have been around since the early days. We don’t really do anything too complicated. People come in, they want a drink or some food, and we provide a place to sit. It’s not about being the loudest place on the block. We just keep the lights low and the service going. The hotel itself is a landmark in this part of Gurgaon, so finding us isn't usually a problem for most people. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends, but that’s expected. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just try to keep things running smoothly day in and day out. If you are near the Bristol or walking around DLF Phase I, you’ve probably seen our sign. It’s just a practical spot for a night out without having to drive too far into the city center. We just want to be a reliable place where people can go.
