Punjabi By Nature

Our place is located in Sco 19 within the Sector 29 market area of Gurgaon. This part of the city is always moving, especially being in the City Centre Market where there are so many offices and other shops. During the day, you see a lot of people in formal shirts walking around with their laptops, looking for a place to sit down for a bit. We keep things pretty straightforward inside. There are enough chairs for a good crowd, though it gets a bit tight during the lunch hour when everyone comes out at once. The lighting is just normal overhead bulbs and we don't have any of those fancy posters on the walls. Outside, the parking is usually a mess, so we see people running in after finally finding a spot blocks away. We spend a lot of time wiping down the glass windows because the dust from the construction nearby always finds its way in. The kitchen staff stays busy from the morning until we close up late at night. It is a loud place because of the chatter and the sound of the market outside, but that is just how Sector 29 is. We don't try to be anything corporate or polished. It is just a kitchen where we cook every day and hope the electricity stays on through the afternoon heat. People come here because they know what to expect and they don't want anything complicated.
