Orange Chopsticks

Orange Chopsticks is tucked away in Shop No-8 over in Udyog Vihar. We are quite close to the Hanuman Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. Being near the Unitech Info Space Block-4 means we see a lot of people in office clothes during the week. Gurgaon is a busy place, and Sector-21 is no different. We spend a lot of time packing up containers for people who don't have time to sit down. The kitchen is small but we make it work. We go through a lot of ingredients every day. It’s a lot of chopping and stir-frying in the back. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook with people asking where their food is, and we just tell them the truth about the traffic. We aren't some big chain; we are just this one shop here in 122016. The decor is pretty basic. We put up some pictures, but they’re nothing special. Most people come here because they’re hungry and we’re close to their work. We try to keep things moving fast because lunch breaks aren't very long. In the evenings, it slows down a bit, and we have time to wipe everything down properly. It’s a decent living, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We see the same security guards and office workers every single day and we say hello.
