Odyssey Night Club

You’ll find us on the top floor of Sahara Mall in Gurgaon. We’re in units R-301 and 302. It’s quite a climb if you aren't using the lift, but being up high is nice. The club has been here for a while now. It’s a dark space with a lot of lights and a sound system that we’ve had to fix a few times. We open up late and stay open until the early hours. The staff is used to the night shift life. We see all sorts of people coming through the doors, especially on the weekends when the mall gets busy. It’s not a quiet place, obviously. The music is usually loud enough that you have to lean in to hear what your friends are saying. We have a bar area and some spots to sit, though most people end up on their feet. The floor gets a bit sticky sometimes, that’s just how it goes with clubs. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the weekend rush. It’s a lot of work running a place like this in Gurgaon, keeping everything moving and making sure the drinks are cold. We aren't a five-star hotel lounge, just a spot to hang out when the sun goes down. Most of us who work here live nearby. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the energy and the people we meet. It’s just how the nightlife works around here.
