Oberoi Biryani Restaurant

We started Oberoi Biryani Restaurant at Plot No 2022, right in Shop 1 and 2 on the Old Delhi Gurgaon Road. We are very close to Atul Kataria Chowk, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside our door. Most of our day is spent around the big pots where the rice and meat are slow-cooking. It’s a heavy job, lifting those lids and smelling the steam all day long. We aren't a big fancy establishment; we just have some tables and chairs for people who want to eat quickly and get back to work. Gurgaon is a fast-moving place, and we see a lot of office workers and drivers stopping by for a plate of biryani. We don't have a lot of time for polished talk. We just serve the food, clear the plates, and start the next batch. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish early and have to tell people to wait or try something else. It's just how a small kitchen works. My cousins and I run the place and we do everything from the shopping at the market to cleaning the floors at night. We picked this spot because the 122001 area has so many people looking for a real meal. It’s hot, it’s loud, and it’s usually busy, but it’s our business and we stay focused on the cooking. We just hope the food is good every single time.
