Not Just Paranthas Restaurant

Our place is at 208-209 on the second floor of the DT City Centre Mall. We are in Gurgaon, zip code 122001. Being near the metro station is handy because it makes it easier for the staff to get to work on time. The mall is a big place and we are just one part of it. We spend most of our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure the tables in the 208-209 area are clean. You have to take the stairs or the lift to find us. It’s a bit of a walk from the main entrance but not too bad. The mall gets quite crowded on the weekends, which means we have to move a bit faster. During the week it is a bit more relaxed. We can hear the hum of the mall's air conditioning all day long. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make food and serve it to people who are hungry. Some of us have been working here since the mall opened. We know where everything is kept and how to fix the stove when it acts up. Gurgaon is a busy city and things are always changing, but we just stay here on the second floor doing our thing. It’s a plain and simple way to make a living.
