Mamagoto

Our place, Mamagoto, is inside Building Sco 56 in Sector 29. Gurgaon can be a very busy and fast place, but we try to keep things simple here. We are near the City Centre, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking around looking for things. The building itself is pretty standard for this area and doesn't stand out much. We have been here for a few years and the walls have a few scuffs from moving tables around when we have big groups. We are not a big corporation with fancy offices or people in suits. We are just a group of people who like to cook and work together. Most of our staff lives nearby and they walk to work every morning. We start early in the day by chopping a lot of vegetables and getting the stove ready. The kitchen gets quite loud when the fans are on and the pans are sizzling on the heat. We don't use any pre-made mixes or frozen meals. We just mix the sauces ourselves every day using our own recipes. Sometimes we forget to change the music and the same songs play on a loop for hours, but nobody seems to mind much. We don't have any polished speeches or mission statements about our food. It is just what it is. We try to keep the tables wiped down and the water glasses full for everyone. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it now.
