KVN Rasoi

KVN Rasoi is tucked away in Shop No-53 of the Huda market in Sector 40, Gurgaon. If you spend any time in this part of the city, you know how the local markets can get during the evenings. It is always a bit crowded with people finishing their grocery shopping or just walking around. Our shop is not very large, but we make use of the space we have. We spend most of our hours in the back of the shop getting things ready. Gurgaon is a fast place, but here in Sector 40, it feels a bit more like a neighborhood where people actually know each other. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. There is no big story about why we started; we just needed a way to work and we knew how to run a kitchen. The market can be a bit dusty and loud, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We keep the counters clean and try to get the orders out as fast as we can without making mistakes. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the market gets blocked by delivery trucks, but we just work around it. It is a practical life here. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make food and hope the people in the sector find it useful for their daily lunch or dinner.
