Our office is at 101 Hari Chamber, right on M G Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how much traffic there is outside. We are on the first floor, and from our window, you can see the constant stream of cars and people moving about. We deal with travel arrangements, mostly focused on getting people where they need to go in cars or buses. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while we look up prices or routes. M G Road is a prime location, but our office is quite simple and down-to-earth. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we just focus on the job. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to have a proper lunch together. We coordinate with drivers and try to make sure everyone shows up on time, though the local traffic makes that hard sometimes. Most of us here have lived in this area for a long time, so we know the roads pretty well. It’s not a complicated business, just about moving people from one place to another and making sure the vehicles are in good shape. We are just local people running a travel desk in the middle of a very busy street, doing what we do every single day without much noise.
