Baba Tourist

Our place, Baba Tourist, is tucked away at 1022 Maruti Vihar, right behind the 1st India Palace. It is a decent spot and fairly easy to find once you get into the lanes of Maruti Vihar. I spend most of my time here managing the cars and talking to travelers who want to see different parts of the country. We aren't a massive agency with hundreds of employees. It is more of a local operation where we know our drivers personally and keep a close eye on everything. Some days the office is quiet and I can catch up on some reading, but other days it is absolute chaos with the phone ringing every two minutes. We get all sorts of people walking in, from families planning a holiday to individuals just needing a quick ride somewhere. I like the variety of it. The neighborhood around Maruti Vihar is quite nice, and we have been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them what is possible and what isn't. It is about being practical and making sure the trips go as smooth as they can. Every day brings something a bit different, which is why I keep doing this. It is a lot of logistics but we enjoy the challenge.
