Our office is tucked away behind Super Mart 2 in DLF City Phase IV. It is not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but most of the local drivers and regulars know where we are. We have been running these taxis around Gurgaon for a while now. The traffic here can be a real headache, especially during the morning rush or when it rains and the roads get all blocked up, but we stay busy. We have a small desk where we handle the bookings and some chairs for the drivers to sit and have tea when they are between trips. It is a pretty basic setup. We don't have a big corporate fleet, just a group of guys who know the routes well and try to get people where they need to go without too much fuss. Sometimes the cars need repairs, or a driver gets stuck in a jam, so things can get a bit hectic. We spend a lot of time on the phone, coordinating with passengers and checking where the cars are. It's mostly about keeping the vehicles running and making sure there is someone available when a call comes in. We see all kinds of people, from folks heading to the airport to people just needing a ride to the office nearby. It’s just honest work, keeping the wheels turning day after day in this busy part of the city. We don’t have fancy uniforms or anything like that, just people driving cars and trying to stay on schedule.
