You can find us over in Sector 37, situated right near the Pace City Petrol Pump. Being so close to the station is handy for us because there is always movement and activity around. We handle a lot of road transport, mostly focusing on moving goods for the local factories and businesses in the industrial area. The office is often a bit noisy because of the trucks idling nearby and the heavy traffic on the main road. Inside, it is pretty basic with some old filing cabinets and a map pinned to the wall that has seen better days. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us who have been working together for years now. We know the routes across the state quite well by now. It is a tough line of work because you are always worrying about the weather or the state of the highways. When it rains heavily, everything slows down and we end up spending all night on the phone. We don't use any fancy logistics software, just our experience and knowing which drivers are reliable. The petrol pump next door is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We just focus on getting the loads delivered and making sure the paperwork is signed. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. Most days involve a lot of tea and waiting for the next truck to arrive.
