Capital Restaurant & bar-be-que

We’ve been running this spot in Sector 31 for quite some time now. It’s right there in the Huda Market, which stays pretty busy most days of the week. Most people know us for the barbeque because you can usually smell the smoke from the charcoal grill before you even see the shop. Shop number 210 isn't very big, but we make it work with the space we have. It gets hot inside, especially in the summers when the grills are going full blast, but the fans help a little. We don’t have fancy chairs or those expensive decorations you see in the new malls. It’s just simple tables where you can sit down and eat your food while it’s still hot. The market can be a bit of a mess with parking, especially on weekend evenings when everyone in Gurgaon seems to be out. We see a lot of the same faces coming back, which is nice. Sometimes it’s just someone picking up a roll on their way home from work, and other times it’s a whole group sitting around talking loudly. We try to keep the spices consistent, though every batch of coal behaves a bit differently. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the food out on time. There isn't much more to it than that. We’re just here in the corner of the market doing our thing every day until we close up for the night. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a place for food.
