Out in Village Tumankhedi, in the Guna district, life is mostly about the land. Our group, Raghogarh Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based here, specifically through Ram Dayal Yadav. It is a very rural setup, and we are proud of that. We don't have a city office with a receptionist or fancy carpet. Most of our meetings happen under a tree or in a simple room in the village. We focus on what the farmers in this part of Guna need. Whether it is getting better seeds or trying to find a fair price for the harvest, we just try to help. The address is just a house in the village, but it serves as our base for everything. You can find us at 473111 if you are traveling through this way. It's a lot of walking and talking to neighbors. We know every field around here. We don't use corporate talk because it doesn't fit our life. We talk about the weather, the soil, and the crops. It's a simple existence, but it’s busy. There is always someone coming by to ask a question or to see if the fertilizer has arrived yet. We keep our records in simple ledgers and try to make sure no one gets left behind in the village. It’s just us farmers working together to make things a little better for the whole village. It’s hard work, but it’s our life and we are just trying to get by together.
