Mid City Restaurant

You can find us on Humnabad Road in the Kapanoor area of Gulbarga. We are right opposite VKG Motors, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you’re driving by. The road out front is usually full of trucks and cars, so it’s a lively spot to be in. We’ve been running Mid City Restaurant for some time now. It’s just a regular place to eat. We don’t have fancy tablecloths or waiters in uniforms. It’s more of a place where you just come in, sit down, and get your meal without any trouble. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or making sure the tables are clean. It gets pretty hot in Gulbarga, so we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We get a lot of people who work in the nearby shops and garages. They usually want something quick so they can get back to work, and we try to accommodate that. It’s a straightforward business. We buy our vegetables and grains locally and just cook what’s needed for the day. We don’t really have a big story to tell. We just wanted to have a business of our own on Humnabad Road. It’s hard work, but we like the people who come in. Most of our customers are regulars who we see every day. We just keep the doors open and the food ready. There isn't much more to it than that.
