We are located at D-1/4 in the Acc Cements Colony. This is over in Wadi, which is part of the Gulbarga district in Karnataka. Even though the name might sound like we are far away, we have been based right here in this colony for a long time. It’s a quiet area mostly, filled with people who work in the industry. Our office is just a regular building like the ones next to it. We deal with cement orders and logistics for the region. The post code is 585225 if you’re sending mail. Gulbarga gets really dry, so we have a lot of fans running in the office. It isn’t a fancy place. We have some old chairs and a big table where we look at maps and schedules. Most of the staff lives right here in the colony, so we see each other at the local shops too. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big logos or glossy brochures. We just do our jobs and go home. Sometimes the phone lines act up, so we have to use our mobiles. People come by to talk about deliveries or to pick up paperwork. We keep it simple. If you are driving through the colony, you will see us near the middle section. It’s a steady place to work. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s just how it is here in Wadi.
