If you look for us in Gondia, you will find Rom Agrotech Private Limited at Bunglow No. A-2 in Sai Colony. It’s right on Balaghat Road. It’s a bit of a family-feeling place since we work out of a bungalow. We focus on agrotech, which is just a way of saying we look for better ways to do farming stuff. Being in Gondiya, we are surrounded by a lot of agricultural activity, so it made sense to set up shop here. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to help the local farms use better methods or tools. It’s not always high-tech stuff; sometimes it’s just common sense improvements. The office is pretty relaxed. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the upcoming seasons. There is a lot of trial and error in what we do. Not every idea works, but we keep trying things out. The Balaghat Road area gets quite busy, but inside the colony, it’s mostly just us working through our projects. We aren't some massive firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know a bit about technology and a lot about the local land. We try to stay practical and not get too ahead of ourselves. It is just about making farming a little less of a struggle for the people around Gondia. We like the work and the people we meet along the way.
