Gee Pee Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited

Down here in Gonda, specifically at House Number 1 in Ragarganj, things stay pretty busy. Raj Bahadur Dubey’s place is where we mostly meet up to discuss the bio energy projects. We’re a group of farmers who decided that we could do more with our waste than just letting it sit there. Ram Pati and the rest of the folks come by often to see how the latest batch is doing. It’s a local effort, really. We don’t use any big corporate talk because we’re just people who work the land and want to see something useful come out of it. The house is always full of talk about the weather and the price of things. Ragarganj is a quiet place usually, but we keep our hands full with the equipment and making sure the bio energy side of things is actually working. It took us a while to get the hang of the processes but we’re getting there. It isn't always easy to get everyone on the same page, but being a producer company means we have to stick together. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to make sure our families and our neighbors have a way to use what they grow more effectively. If you walk past the Dubey house, you’ll probably see someone working on a machine or hauling something out to the fields. That’s just life for us.
