Sai Rasoi

Sai Rasoi is situated at Shop number 4, Plot No S 26, in the Shalimar Garden Extension 2 area of Ghaziabad. We are very close to the local Gurudwara, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. We are a small, local kitchen and we don't have a lot of space for sitting. Most of the people who come to us are living in the surrounding apartments and they usually take their food home to eat with their families. We started this place because we wanted to provide simple, home-style food to the neighborhood. Our menu isn't very long; we just stick to the things we know how to make well. We use regular ingredients that you would find in any Indian household. The kitchen is small and we do all the cooking right there. You can often smell the fresh rotis being made if you are walking past the shop. It is a very humble operation. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most of our business comes from the same people who stop by day after day. We know their preferences and how they like their food prepared. It is a nice way to be part of the community here in Shalimar Garden. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks of cooking and cleaning, making sure there is always something warm for the neighbors to pick up.
