Richi Rich Banquets

Richi Rich Banquets is out on Vaishali Ram Road, near Kirti Nagar. We’re pretty close to the Crown Plaza and right off the Ring Road, so there’s always a lot of cars passing by. It’s one of those places that stays busy because people are always having some kind of celebration. I work here mostly on the floor, making sure the decorations are straight and the lights are actually working. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we have to change the layout of the room three times in one week. One day it’s a small engagement and the next it’s a big community gathering. The carpet has seen better days but we try to keep it looking okay for the guests. You see a lot of different people coming through here, from nervous grooms to kids running around getting in everyone’s way. We don’t really do the whole 'mission statement' thing. We just open up, do the job, and hope the traffic on the Ring Road isn't too bad for the guests getting here. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, so we’re always checking the cooling system. It's just a local banquet spot where people come to get together. We’ve been here a while and it feels like a regular part of the daily commute for most of us. Sometimes we’re still here late at night packing things away.
