Punjab Steel Corporation

Punjab Steel Corporation is located at J-267 in Patel Nagar. It’s a busy part of the district. We’ve got a lot of metal sitting around most days. Mostly steel rods and stuff for builders. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. Just a big gate and some racks. We open early because the workers like to pick up their materials before the heat gets too bad. I usually handle the paperwork while the boys move the heavy stuff. It can get pretty hectic when three trucks show up at once. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory. Patel Nagar has grown a lot, and we’ve tried to keep up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait to use the saws. That’s just how it is here. We don't promise miracles, just what we have on the floor. If the stock is low, we order more. It’s a simple cycle. We’ve got some old machines that still work better than the new ones. They make a lot of noise but they get the job done. If you're looking for us, look for the big blue door. It’s got some rust on the bottom but it’s hard to miss. We don't do much on the computer, mostly writing things down in the ledger. It’s worked for us so far and we don't see a reason to change now.
