Jai Shri Krishna Traders

We operate out of No.137 in the Loha Mandi area, right on B.S. Road. This is a very industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of dust and the sound of heavy trucks. At Jai Shri Krishna Traders, we deal with bulk materials. Our space is basically a big warehouse with a small corner partitioned off for the desk and the ledger books. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. There is iron and steel everywhere you look. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with drivers and checking the weight of the loads coming in. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets quite warm inside. We have a couple of ceiling fans that just move the hot air around. Dealing with traders and suppliers keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the trucks get delayed in traffic on B.S. Road, which throws off our whole schedule, but we just deal with it as it happens. We’ve been in Loha Mandi for a long time, so we know most of the other people on the street. It’s a tough business and the work is physical, but it’s what we know. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the orders are correct before they go out. It can be exhausting, but it is just the way our business works.
