K R Steels

We are over at Plot No.295 on Patel Marg. It’s pretty easy to spot because we are right opposite the Tata Dharam Kanta. Steel is our business, and we've been handling it for a good bit now. The yard can get a bit dusty and loud with the trucks coming in and out, but that is the nature of the work. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just buy and sell steel, move it around, and make sure customers get what they asked for. It's a family-run kind of vibe, nothing corporate about it. Most of us have been here for years. You’ll see the heavy loads being weighed across the street at the kanta all day long. We keep our operations simple. There isn't some big management team; we just talk to each other and get it done. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, but the work doesn't stop. Patel Marg is a busy place, but we like being in the thick of it. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sales pitch. If you need steel, you come to the yard and we see what we have in stock. That's really all there is to K R Steels. We just keep our heads down and keep the metal moving. It's honest work and we've been doing it a long time now. The day starts at eight and ends when the work is finished.
