Maharaja Steels

Our place is down in the Loha Mandi area, specifically at C-77 on B.S. Road. Maharaja Steels has been operating out of this industrial district for quite a while now. If you know this part of town, you know it’s mostly warehouses and big trucks everywhere. It gets pretty loud and dusty, which is just part of being in the steel business. We deal with various metal stocks and supplies. It is a heavy job. Most of my day is spent on the phone or out in the yard checking the inventory levels. We aren't some big corporate office with glass walls. Our office is just a small room off to the side of the main storage area. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we manage to get through it. We’ve seen the industrial area change over the years. Some businesses leave, and new ones come in, but we just stay here at C-77. People usually come to us because they know we have what they need in the stacks. It’s physical work, moving all that metal around every day. We don’t really do fancy brochures or anything. We just write down what’s needed and get it loaded up. It can be exhausting, especially during the busy months when everyone wants their orders at the same time. The traffic on B.S. Road is usually a crawl, but we are used to it by now.
