Punjab Curry Corner

Our shop is Punjab Curry Corner and we are located in Shalimar Garden Extension 2. If you know where SM World is in Ghaziabad, you can find us pretty easily because we are right near there. It’s a small place, mostly just a kitchen with a small area for customers. We focus on making curries that taste like they were made in a family kitchen. We use a lot of onions, garlic, and ginger, and you can usually smell the spices from down the block. We don’t have much in the way of seating, maybe just two or three small tables, so a lot of our work is packing up bags for people to take home. The street outside can get very crowded with cars and scooters, especially in the evening when everyone is coming back from work. We stay open late because that’s when people are most hungry for a hot curry. Our pots are always simmering on the stove. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the same old pans we’ve had for a long time. It gets a bit hot in the kitchen during the summer, but we keep the fans going. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local curry shop trying to do things the right way for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring, but we like seeing the same people coming back every week.
