New Maharani Restaurant

You can find us, New Maharani Restaurant, over at D-34 in RDC, Raj Nagar. We are right there on the Gaur mall road, which is usually quite a busy part of Ghaziabad. I’ve been working here for a while, and it’s always interesting to see the crowds coming in after they finish their shopping at the mall. The restaurant isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s mostly just plain walls and sturdy furniture. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work in the offices around RDC. They come in for lunch or a quick dinner before heading back to the suburbs. I spend my day making sure the tables are wiped and the water bottles are filled. It gets quite loud during the weekends because of the mall traffic, but that’s just life in Raj Nagar. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town, just a reliable one where you know what you’re getting. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish early in the day, and we just have to tell people we'll have it tomorrow. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. No one puts on an act here. We just open up in the morning and close late at night once the last customer has gone home. It is what it is. We just keep going.
