Monu Bhojnalaya

We are located in the Shiv Mandir Market area of Shastri Nagar, Ghaziabad. Our address is right by Hapur Chunggi. It is quite easy to find us because the Passport Office is very close by. Because of that, we get a lot of people who are waiting for their appointments or just finished their paperwork. The market is always loud and there is a lot of activity around the temple too. We are a simple bhojnalaya, so we serve the kind of food you would eat at home. There are no fancy menus or expensive dishes here. We have a few wooden tables and chairs for people to sit. The kitchen is right there, and you can hear the pressure cooker whistling all day long. We start our prep work early in the morning so the dal and vegetables are ready by lunchtime. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when the lunch rush hits. We do not have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that do their best in the Ghaziabad heat. The staff is just family and a couple of helpers. We have been in this market for a long time and know most of the other shopkeepers around us. It is an honest living. We do not try to impress anyone with decorations. We just provide a hot meal for people who are hungry and need a place to sit for a bit before moving on. (259 words)
