This is Kaali charan sharma dhaba, located right on the Delhi Meerut road in Ghaziabad. We are directly opposite the Hyundai showroom, which makes us pretty easy to find if you are driving towards Meerut or coming into Delhi. Being on the highway means we see a lot of travelers, truck drivers, and families on road trips. It is a dusty road and there is always the sound of heavy trucks passing by, but that is part of the charm of a dhaba. We don't have air conditioning or fancy decor. It is just an open-style place where you can sit down and eat something hot. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local drivers know us. We don't bother with fancy marketing or slogans. We just focus on the food and keeping the tea hot. The kitchen is always running, even late into the night because the highway never really sleeps. It’s a tough job working in the heat and the smoke, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes the crowd is huge and we struggle to find enough chairs, but people don't seem to mind waiting a bit. It is an honest place for honest people. We don't promise anything crazy, just a spot to rest your legs and get a meal before you hit the road again. That is how we have always done things here, day after day.
