Diamond Public School

Diamond Public School is located in Teela Shahbaz Pur, which is over in the Loni area. It’s a bit of a dusty spot sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, but it’s where we’ve set up our classrooms. The school is right there among the houses and local shops, so we are very much a part of the daily life in Teela Shahbaz Pur. We don’t have a massive campus or anything, just enough rooms for the students and a small area for them to move around. Every morning is the same routine—opening the gates, sweeping the front, and getting ready for the kids to arrive. Loni can be a busy place, and there’s always something going on in the streets outside. We try to keep the inside of the school as organized as we can, though with so many kids, it’s usually a bit chaotic until the lessons start. We aren't trying to be some high-end private academy; we are just a local school providing a place for kids in this neighborhood to go. The teachers here are mostly locals too, so everyone knows each other’s families. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We deal with the usual problems like leaky taps or broken chairs just like any other place. It’s just us doing our bit in this corner of Loni, year after year, and we are quite content with how things are.
