Gyan Bharti Public School

Gyan Bharti Public School is right here in the Cantt. Area of Paharpur. It is a place where we spend most of our daylight hours. The mornings usually start with the sound of the gates opening and the staff arriving one by one. You see the kids coming in with their bags, some looking tired and others already running around. We have our classrooms set up simply. There is nothing too fancy about the building, but it does the job. Throughout the day, you can hear the murmur of lessons through the hallways. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy during the breaks, but that is just how it goes with a lot of students in one spot. We spend time making sure the registers are updated and the rooms are tidy enough for the next day. The sun usually hits the front of the school in the afternoon, making it quite warm. Most people in this part of Paharpur know where we are. We have been sitting at this address for a while now. When the final bell rings, there is a big rush toward the exit. Then it gets quiet again, and we just lock up and go home. It is a regular routine that repeats from Monday to Friday. We do not have big speeches here; we just get on with the teaching and the paperwork. It feels like a small community inside these walls, where everyone knows each other's faces after a few months.
