Mount Litera Zee School is situated right out on NH 82 in the Manpur area of Gaya. Being near the highway means there is always a bit of traffic noise in the background, but we have gotten used to it over time. The school building is easy to spot for anyone driving through Manpur towards the main part of Gaya. We have a fair amount of space around the buildings where the kids can run around during their physical education periods. The classrooms are basic but they have what is needed for a day of teaching. We don’t go in for anything too flashy; it is more about the daily routine of bells ringing and books being opened. The teachers here mostly come in from different parts of Gaya, bringing their own lunch boxes and stories from the morning commute. On some days, the sun hits the playground just right, and it looks like a nice place to be, even with the NH 82 traffic zooming past just a short distance away. We try to keep the hallways clear and the blackboards clean, though with so many students, things never stay perfect for very long. It is a busy place, especially in the afternoons when the buses are lining up to take everyone back home. We have been here for a while now and have become a regular landmark for people living in this part of Manpur. It is just where we work every day.
