Daya Prakash Saraswati Vidya Mandir

Daya Prakash Saraswati Vidya Mandir is located in Keshav Nagar, right in the heart of Gaya. We have been here for quite some time now, and the school has become a familiar part of the neighborhood. The mornings here are usually the busiest time, with the sounds of prayers and the bell ringing to start the day. Gaya can get very hot in the summer, so we do our best to keep the classrooms cool with fans, even when the electricity is being a bit temperamental. Our building is a traditional one, with plenty of windows to let the light in. The teachers are dedicated people who have lived in Gaya for most of their lives. We don't go in for fancy advertisements or social media campaigns. Most of our new students come to us because their older siblings or parents were once here. It’s a very local way of doing things. The playground is small, but the kids make the most of it during their breaks. We have a lot of books in our small library, some of them quite old now but still useful. Sometimes we have to fix a broken bench or replace a window pane, but that is just part of looking after a school. We are just a group of people working together to keep this school running for the families in Keshav Nagar, making sure the kids have a place to learn.
