Food D Nation

We are set up over in Jagat Farm, Greater Noida. If you know the Amrittpuram Gol Chakkar, we are right near there. Greater Noida is a big place with lots of wide roads, but Jagat Farm has its own feel. It’s a bit more crowded and lively. We’ve been here for some time now, just trying to provide food for the people who live in the apartments and the students nearby. The name Food D Nation was just something we came up with one afternoon. We don't have a big corporate story about why we started. We just needed a job and we knew how to cook. The shop gets a lot of dust from the road, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s a never-ending task. The lighting inside isn't the most modern, but it works well enough for people to see their plates. We don't have a website or any fancy social media pages. We just rely on people seeing us when they go to the market. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients by the end of the day, and we just have to tell people we're out. That’s how it goes in a real kitchen. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decorations. We just want to make sure the stove stays lit and the food gets served to whoever walks through the door. It's not a complicated life, but it's our life and we're used to it by now. I think it works for us.
