Tandoori hatti

Tandoori hatti is a small shop at number 22 on the main road in Old Faridabad. We are quite close to the gurukul, which is a big landmark around here. The road outside is always loud with horns and people shouting, but that’s just how Old Faridabad is. Our hatti is a simple setup. We don’t have much room, so everything has to be organized just right. The tandoor sits right at the front so the heat goes out toward the street. It’s a tough job in the summer, standing there with the fire all day, but we’re used to it. We don't have a website or a fancy logo. Most people just find us by walking past or because they live in the neighborhood. We focus on getting the bread and the kebabs right. The flour gets everywhere, on our clothes and on the floor, no matter how much we clean. It’s just the nature of the work. Our regulars are mostly people stopping by on their way home from work. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us doing everything from cooking to cleaning the tables. It’s a basic life, but it keeps us busy. We try to keep the prices fair because we know our customers. It’s just a small local business trying to stay afloat on a busy main road. We don't ask for much, just for the day to go smoothly.
