BBQ Kingdom

We are over at Shop 155 in the Huda Market in Sector 11. Faridabad is a busy place, and this market is no different. BBQ Kingdom has been here in Sector 11 for a while now. We’re tucked in with all the other shops, so you have to look for the number 155. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent prepping the meat and getting the ovens ready. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just a few of us working together to keep things running. The market gets really crowded in the evenings, especially on weekends, so we have to move fast. Sometimes the electricity goes out or we run out of something, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just how running a small shop goes. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. People come in from around the neighborhood and we get to know them pretty well. The 121006 area has been good to us. We focus on the practical things, like making sure the floor is swept and the bills are paid. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just want to be open when we say we’re going to be open. It’s just a regular shop in a regular market, doing our best every day.
