Shahi Wah Ji Wah

We are over here in NIT, right at 5d-88a. It’s been quite a few years now since we started Shahi Wah Ji Wah. If you know the Singh Sabha Gurudwara, then finding us is easy because we are just opposite that. The street gets pretty busy in the evenings, especially when people are coming back from work or finishing up their prayers. It’s just a small place, nothing too fancy to look at, but we keep the kitchen running all day. The staff is mostly local guys who’ve been with us for a bit. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure the tables are ready for the next person. Sometimes the noise from the road gets inside, but that is just how it is in Faridabad. We don't have a big office or anything, just the counter and the cooking area in the back. Most of our regulars are families from around NIT who don't want to cook at home some nights. It gets hot in the summers, but the fans do their job well enough. We just try to get the food out while it is still hot. There isn't much to say other than we are here every day from morning until late at night. If you pass the gurudwara, you’ll see our sign. It's a simple setup, just some chairs and the smell of spices coming from the pans. We just keep doing what we do.
