Shahi Wah Ji Wah Veg Restaurant

People in Ballabhgarh usually know where the Punjabi Dharamshala is, and we are right across from it on Malerna Road. Shahi Wah Ji Wah Veg Restaurant has been part of Adarsh Nagar for a while now. It’s a veg place, so we don't handle any meat here at all. The area is always moving, with bikes and people walking by heading towards the station or the main markets. Our shop isn't very large, but we managed to fit enough benches for the afternoon rush. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but for now, they are fine. We start early in the morning, getting the vegetables delivered and prepped before the sun gets too high. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring throughout the day. The guys in the kitchen are used to the heat by now. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly folks living nearby or people stopping after visiting the dharamshala. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the traffic picks up, but it feels like home to us. We don't do anything complicated, just standard cooking that people expect when they come in. We try to keep things tidy, though it’s hard when it’s raining outside and everyone brings in mud. It’s just a regular local spot where you can sit down for a bit and eat something simple without any fuss.
