Roti Aur Boti

We are located at 3D/ 22 in the NIT area of Faridabad. You can find us right near the masjid, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our shop is focused on simple food like meat dishes and different kinds of bread. The name basically tells you what we do. We don't have a big fancy dining room, so a lot of our customers just take the food home or stand outside and eat on their scooters. The grill is usually going most of the afternoon and into the late evening. It gets quite smoky and hot near the front where the cooking happens, but you get used to it. NIT is a busy part of Faridabad, so there are always people moving around and cars parked everywhere in the lanes. We have been in this spot for some time now and most of the people who come to eat are from the neighborhood. We buy our meat and flour fresh every day because we don't have a lot of storage space in the back. It’s a very hands-on job, with someone always kneading dough or checking the coal to make sure it’s hot enough. We don’t use any complicated recipes, just the stuff we learned from our families. The shop isn't much to look at, just some counters and the tandoor, but we keep it going every day. It’s just us working hard to serve the local crowd in 121001. We finish late and start over the next day.
