Punjabi Desi Dhaba

Our dhaba is set up at House No 76-77 in the NIT area of Faridabad. We are quite close to Piyali Chowk, which is always a hub of activity with people coming and going. This part of New Janta Colony is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there’s always something happening outside our door. Punjabi Desi Dhaba isn't a big, fancy restaurant with waiters in uniforms. It’s a more grounded place, built into the fabric of the neighborhood. We spend our mornings prepping in the kitchen and getting the seating area ready for the day. The NIT area can get pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just the character of Faridabad. We see a lot of locals who live just a few streets away and workers who need a break from their shift. The house number makes it sound like a home, and in some ways, it feels like that because we are here more than anywhere else. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at Piyali Chowk for a while. The stove stays hot, the tea is always brewing, and we just try to keep things clean and simple. It’s a regular life, and we don’t mind the long hours. When the sun goes down and the street lights come on, the place really picks up with the evening crowd.
