Moti Mahal Banquet

We are located over at 16 P in Sector 16, right in the middle of things here in 121002. It’s a banquet place, so you can imagine it gets pretty hectic when there’s a big event scheduled. Most of the time, we are just here moving chairs around or checking the kitchen supplies. The building itself is straightforward, nothing too crazy to look at from the outside, but it does the job for the neighborhood. I’ve been working here long enough to know all the shortcuts around the sector. The floors need a lot of mopping because of all the foot traffic we get during wedding season. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. Sometimes the AC acts up when it’s really hot outside, but we get it fixed pretty quick. We have a few different halls for people to use. Some are bigger than others. People from around here know us mostly because we've been sitting on this spot for years. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything. Just the name on the front. My cousin helps out with the bookings sometimes. It's a lot of coordination with the decorators and the families. You see a lot of happy faces, but also a lot of stressed-out parents. That's just how it goes with banquets. We just provide the space and make sure the food is ready on time. It's a decent living. We start early in the morning, usually around seven, to get everything wiped down before the first guests arrive.
