Green Wood Convent School

You can find us out at the 62 Km Mile Stone in Rehrana. It’s a bit of a drive out here in Palwal, but it’s where we are. The school has been part of this landscape for some time now. We have kids coming in from the surrounding areas. Some days the road is busy, other days it’s quiet. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Just the school building and the grounds. We spend our time making sure the classrooms are ready and the teachers are set for the day. It’s a simple life out here. We don’t go in for big corporate words or polished brochures. Most of the families around here just know us as the local convent school. We focus on the books and the play area. The weather hits us pretty hard sometimes, especially in the winter mornings, but we keep things running. It’s about getting the children through their lessons and making sure they get home safe on the bus. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a school in the countryside. We do the work, look after the kids, and start again the next morning. It's a practical way of doing things, and it works for us and the parents in Rehrana. We keep the grass trimmed and the rooms open, and that is about all there is to it. It's just a regular day for everyone.
