Da Deg Restaurant

You can find us at shop number 1 in the Huda Market over in Sector 45. We are right across from the Sector 46 community center. It is a busy little corner of Faridabad. We have been operating out of this market for a good bit of time now. The market gets very crowded on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping and chores. We open up early to start the prep work in the kitchen. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring before the first customer even walks in. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for us. There is always something to fix, like a leaky tap or a lightbulb that went out in the back room. We don't have any big corporate offices; it is just us here every day. My nephew helps out with the deliveries when he isn't busy with his studies. We see a lot of people from the nearby houses coming in for a quick meal. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always wiping down the counters and tables. It’s a simple life, just running a restaurant in a local market. We don't really go for anything flashy. We just serve the food we know how to make. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, with new shops opening up and others closing, but we are still here in our same spot. We just keep at it every day and try to keep things clean.
