Ambica Packaging

Ambica Packaging is located at Plot No 12 in the SSI Complex along 16/2 Mathura Road. If you know this part of Mathura Road, you know the traffic is almost always a mess. We usually try to get here early in the morning just to avoid the worst of the congestion. Our plot is basically a large warehouse filled with rolls of material and packaging supplies. It is a very practical place with concrete floors and high ceilings. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, so it gets pretty warm in the afternoon. We use a few big fans to keep the air moving. Our daily routine is mostly about loading and unloading trucks. There is no corporate ladder here or complicated management levels. We just have a few guys who know how to run the cutters and the loaders. We keep our tools on a pegboard and have an old desk for the paperwork. It’s a bit dusty because of all the cardboard and paper, but that’s just the nature of the business. We don't have any big meetings or mission statements. We just look at the orders for the day and get to work. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been at this location for a while and the neighbors in the complex are all doing similar industrial work.
