If you look for us near the Anaj Mandi Chowk, you’ll find our spot at 6/341. We also have space at 5/128. We are quite close to the police station and the post office, which makes it easy for people to give directions. This area is always full of grain and farmers coming in to sell their crops. It’s a bit dusty and the roads are narrow, but it’s where all the action is. We handle a lot of different things depending on the season. My family has been around this part of town for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there. Making sure the work gets done right every day is what matters to us. The office is small and usually has a few sacks of grain sitting near the door. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find me or one of the guys sitting at the desk with a ledger. It’s a simple life. We wake up early, open the shutters, and see who comes by. Sometimes it’s busy and we don’t have time to sit, other days we just wait for the trucks to arrive. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just buying and selling what the land gives us. That’s how it’s always been in the Anaj Mandi since I was a young boy. We just keep our heads down and work.
