Xl Dime

Xl Dime is located on Kalathiparambil Road in Kochi, not too far from the main station area. It’s a busy little street and parking can be a real nightmare if you come at the wrong time of day. We’ve been operating out of this building, No. 55/575, for quite some time now. The name sounds a bit modern, but the way we work is pretty old-fashioned. We deal with various items and materials that come through here. The warehouse space is usually a bit of a mess with boxes and crates everywhere, but we generally know where everything is. The humidity in Kochi isn't great for storage, so we have to stay on top of things to make sure nothing gets ruined. It’s mostly just a few of us running the show. We handle the unloading ourselves most mornings when the trucks arrive. It’s a lot of physical work and by the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. If you come to see us, you’re basically walking right into the middle of our workspace. We just talk to people plainly about what we have and what it costs. No fancy talk or trying to convince anyone of anything. We just keep the business moving one day at a time here on Kalathiparambil Road, dealing with the heat and the daily bustle of the city as it happens around us.
