K. L. Trading Corporation

We’ve been here at 3/10 in the Kirti Nagar industrial area for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, always something moving in or out of the warehouse. People around here know us as K. L. Trading Corporation. Most days it’s just about getting the orders sorted and making sure things are where they need to be. We don't do much fancy talking. My desk is usually covered in papers and the tea gets cold before I can finish it. We deal with a lot of different items, mostly stuff for other businesses nearby. It gets dusty in the summer and the traffic on the main road can be a real headache, but we manage to get through it. Some of the guys have been working here since the start, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We know the neighbors and the delivery drivers by their first names. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we try to keep things organized. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the forklift going or someone shouting across the floor to get a pallet moved. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes the phone rings off the hook when we are right in the middle of something else, but that is just how it goes in trading. We stay busy and keep the gates open until the sun goes down.
