SOLRAY INDUSTRIES

Out here in Valayanchirangara, life moves at a different pace than in the main part of Ernakulam. SOLRAY INDUSTRIES is located at Mp1/276A. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always some noise or something moving around. We’ve been set up in this part of Kerala for a while. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time on the floor, making sure everything is running the way it should. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is here. Most of us have lived nearby for years. We know the neighbors and the local shops where we grab tea during our breaks. Being in an industrial spot means we deal with a lot of heavy lifting and daily maintenance. It’s not a desk job where you stay clean all day. Our clothes usually end up a bit dusty or greasy by the end of the shift. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations. If something needs fixing or making, we just get to it. Some days are long, especially when a machine acts up or a delivery is late coming down the road. But we like the work. It feels real and keeps us busy. Valayanchirangara is a good place for a business like ours because we have the space we need to operate. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. It isn't always easy, but we prefer this to a city office.
